A: The Homecoming Dance will take place on October 20 from 6pm-10pm at Bok Gymnasium, 1901 S 9th Street.

A: This isn’t your high school dance — it’s a night of joy, culture, and community. Enjoy dishes from celebrated Black chefs, curated wines, incredible music, dancing, and the crowning of the Philly Homecoming Court.

Q: What’s included with my ticket?
A: Admission includes access to the full event experience: culinary tastings, wine, entertainment, and all programming throughout the night.

Q: Will tickets be available at the door?
A: A limited number of tickets may be available at the door for $100. We strongly encourage purchasing in advance to secure your spot and take advantage of lower pricing.

Q: Is there a dress code?
A: Yes. This is a grown and stylish evening — think cocktail attire or elevated looks with letterman jackets. It’s Homecoming energy, so bring your best dressed-up vibe.

A: The evening will be hosted by Tahiirah Habibi, Founder of The Hue Society. A visionary in wine, culture, and community, Tahiirah has built a platform dedicated to celebrating Black excellence, joy, and legacy.

Q: Will there be a Homecoming Court?
A: Yes! We’ll honor leaders and community members who embody the city’s brilliance. Crowns will be awarded across categories like The Voice, The Vibe, Life of the Party, and Philly Legend Award.

Q: Is there parking?
A: There is no on-site parking. Street parking and nearby lots are available — we recommend planning ahead or using rideshare.

Q: Can I bring drinks outside of the event?
A: No. For licensing and safety reasons, drinks must stay inside the venue and cannot be taken home.

Q: Is there a VIP section?
A: There is no separate VIP section, but we do offer luxury upsell options to elevate your experience.

Q: Is this event 21+?
A: Yes. Since wine will be served, this event is strictly for guests 21 and over.
